I booked a load with "Strategic Alliance Transport" last Nov.20, 2009 i was told they will pay me within 30 days no problem. i am thinking if they take forty days no problem.. Well last week i called them looking for my money, they told me they fired the guy that gave me the load with a big song and dance. I was told they needed my info again so i told them to just look up my M. C. No. he says i am all set will even send my check overnight mail with Fed Ex. well i get home yesterday and no check, call them this morning tod me to call back in one hour. Call back one hour later and another guy tells me to call back in one hour. told him i already did that and he says he will call me right back. One hr. goes by i call him puts me on hold for twenty min. then he gets on the phone and says it is all set take my fax no. and says he is filling out the Fed Ex form right now and will fax me a copy of the check and Fed Ex so i can track it. He did fax the fed Ex but no copy of check. I checked the Fed Ex tracking N. And it is no good. Going to call there bonding company in the morning These guys are out of Cherry Creek Co. Watch out for them they are nbo good.:biggrin_25510:

Thanks for the heads up on these scumbags. Sounds like the super slow roll. I have had success by telling scumbags like this that "I am on my way to your office to pickup my check in person". I have also sat in front of an office and surprised them. Got my check!

Definitely sounds like a drop by would be cheaper than a lawyer. Don't go in w/ too big a head of steam though. Check the situation out carefully.

File on the bond asap, if they are a legitimate company that should get the ball rolling when the bonding company calls them about your claim against them.
I got screwed by a place in AZ called Absolute Transport and so many companys had claims on the bond that no one got anything. Funny thing about it though is the President of Absolute Transport, a guy named Mike DeMxxxx is named on the board of directors of around 20 other companys one of which is their bonding company. The brokerage and bonding company are in the same building. We are in the process of trying to find out where this crook's residence is so I can have some "collectors" pay him a visit. He owes me $1100. The agent who booked the load with me at Absolute Transport is named Luann Mxxxx and now works for a new brokerage who just got their authority granted very recently. The word Arizona in part of the new brokerage name.

you gotta hit the bonding company first with a broker, this will almost everytime get the job done. It will indeed it their credit report.

Definitely call his bonding agent and file the lean. It will get the ball rolling real fast if they are trying to stay in business. In 2 years I have had to file one time and amazing the check showed up the very next day via overnite. I went to the bank and deposited it and waited 5 days before releasing the bond. You have to make sure it clears.

Make sure your documentation is in order and keep track of your contacts with the broker and bond company. Write down as much information as you can it may prove valuable...

Fed-Ex has one serious flaw in its tracking ability. They wont recognize their own tracking number for at least after the first twenty four hours.

Noting this thread is four days old. Have you recieved anything yet? Or are you silent now for being paid? Did you try the Fed-Ex # after the 24 hours for giggles to see what if anything came up?
