Caterpillar Engine Serial Lookup

I know it says the hp on the sticker there but from what I can see allot of them said 330 but could have any amount of power

 

That's engine family, serial number is different. Look for a tag lower on the block or even just a spot where its stamped into the block.

 

That's the EPA emissions family number.

Ok it’s in a 2001 c8500 so it’s probably original
