Can be intense. A buddy of mine flys AgCats and Air Tractors. Both for ag spraying and fire suppression. Fire suppression is the worst. 3g+ and 1g- is pretty normal at that.Flint1, Crusader66, Nostalgic and 11 others Thank this.

Welcome to Monday 2.0 everyone.
Woke up to a truck doing an emergency shut down......
Hop out and there's coolant everywhere.
Alright diag time. I'm at a truck stop so hopefully I can get most of what I need to fix it in store and be rolling again.
Start looking for the leak, which is next to impossible when the entire engine bay is covered in coolant btw, can't see anything so I grab a jug of water and crack open the overflow tank with the intention of putting some in in hopes that I'll see where it's leaking from.
The moment the seal was broken she started puking out of the water pump......welp don't think the truck stops got one of those so closed er up and started making phone calls.
No one can bring one to me, and if they could it's 700 bucks for the pump alone not to mention the coolant and associated accoutrement plus delivery fee. I have a pump off the spare engine I bought when I fixed the head at home.
Insurance covers to tow bill minus 250 dollar deductible so truck will be on the hook in the am for the 5 hour ride to the house.Flint1, MOBee, singlescrewshaker and 10 others Thank this. -
It’s a blast. I go up with him whenever I get a chance. One of the Air Tractors he flys has a back seat. I’m in there pretty quick if he’s working that one around here.Flint1, MOBee, singlescrewshaker and 8 others Thank this.
