Can it be turned up pretty easy or is it best to stay away? Thanks Joe

Leave it be, need hard parts to do it right. If you want a little pep to it, Google IAP and boost sensor resistor mod or check out TS performance.

Like @spsauerland said, you can’t do much with that without changing hard parts. I know of one that had a turbo and injector change and flashed with a fire truck file. It ran pretty good but smashed the pistons out of it in 4 months. That probably has lighter pistons and rods than higher hp arrangements and maybe a different cam.

It’s in a elevator forestry truck that will be hooked to a 10k chipper. So maybe 35k max here in Mi we have smaller hills but it is hilly think it will pull alright? I’ve only had my dt360 to compare it to

With a little DT for comparison you should be pretty happy with the Cat. Even at the same horsepower I’d think the Cat would have a bit of a torque advantage.

Yeah that much of a difference? I believe about 125ftlbs and from an auto Allison to a 6 speed should help also

125ftlbs is huge. Horsepower is really a meaningless number for truck engines. Torque is a direct measure of the engines ability to accelerate itself under load. That’s a little more relevant when it comes to towing trailers through the woods.
