Hi I have huge problem I took my truck in to TA to have an Ultimate PM Done on my 2006 T2000 Kenworth.
After the pm I got in truck and the warning buzzer would not shut off nothing on the dash lights up just that annoying buzzer. I still think they did something it was working fine before. they insisted it was the switch so the took dash appart and switch was working properly. so then they just called it quits and said oh well you have to take it to kenworth. after my last experience at KW a week in the shop then i caught them red handed on two seperate issues they tried screwing me out of $900 it still ended up being $4900 just to change a radiator. not looking forward to going back.
anyone have any idea what the problem could be its really annoying and i cant concentrate on the road with that crap going off.

just disconnect the speaker till you get it fixed.
just don't get an inspection though. or you'll get a fix it for warning sound. -
There is several things that actuate a warning buzzer. First off, which warning buzzer? Door ajar/open?, seat belts?, low air pressure?, headlights on? Any idea which one?? (not all may apply to your model necessarily). And which "switch" are you referring to?
Not 100% sure, but have heard these models might have an air dryer filter sensor which actuates a warning buzzer when overdue for changing. Again, just a thought, with limited info.Another Canadian driver Thanks this. -
ok i have an update on this issue first off no way to tell as i dont get anything but a continuous noise its pretty much the same as what you would hear if air pressure was low but none of the warning lights come on.
i have drove with this irritating buzzing noise from Colorado to new jersey had and interesting thing happen the noise quit right when engine light came on then i noticed my oil pressure was dangerously low then oil light came on so i pulled over on the jersey turn pike and checked the oil it was bone dry on the dip stick and then i looked under truck and there was a ton of oil on the ground and all over the bottem of my truck all the way to the trailer. considering ijust had a pm done at ta just a few days before this cant be a coincidence. also funny the buzzer should suddenly stop buzzing just as the engine light comes on. could there be a sensor to tell you if oil filter is not tight i mention that cause tow truck driver said it looked like it could be leaking from the oil filter. this is bs and i dont know what i am gonna do i cant afford this especially if it damaged my engine. is it possible ta ruined my truck?Another Canadian driver Thanks this. -
Hi there, I'm a service tech with the same issue on a 2017 autocar cab over. Cannot figure out why, changed buzzer and IFM just in case but same problem. Autocar tech support is stumped as well, I have an itching feeling it's something along the lines of a brake pressure switch but according to my dash diag controls, everything appears to be reading correctly, CEL but no other lights or signs, and air is holding at 130psi. Any tips or solutions found?
