    Looking at being a independent contractor for usal in Houston. Does anyone have any information on this company?

    I didn’t know they had independent contractors. I have many former coworkers and friends who worked for them several years. Their compensation package was unrivaled by any other Carhaul carrier, including Union Carriers. They left our market a few years ago and their many drivers in this area high and dry. They offered none of them the option to transfer to other work. It left a bad taste in the mouths of many who worked for them and those who originally had high opinions of USAL, no longer feel that way.
