He really showed what a contemptible POS he is when he completely disrespected all the victims and their families in Uvalde. So as we say down here in South Texas: F that puto!
Chirt, austinmike, haz-matguru and 2 others Thank this. -
7 years ago I moved there. They gave me a temp liscense with hazmat on it, you need to take hazmat test then. You get fingerprinted, it has to come back in 90 days. Otherwise you get a normal cdl. But that's a long time ago.
Go into the office and talk to them and see what they say.Chirt Thanks this. -

A quick trip down to the Texas Dept of Transport will soon have you in know once more.
-
The Texas Dept of Transportation is responsible for highway & bridge maintenance, they don't do anything with vehicles or licensing.
The Dept of Motor Vehicles handles things like license plates, registration, and titles.
The Department of Public Safety handles driver's licenses, hazmat endorsements, vehicle safety inspections, handgun licensing, state troopers, Texas Rangers, and protection details for the capital and dignitaries.Last edited: Aug 17, 2022
