Rumor from the shop is they are rotating out older trailers and getting newer ones in. Can't say anything towards braking type.
-
The newer trailers I’ve pulled have all still had drum brakes.
-
what first 3 numbers are they up to now?
-
190s I think
-
The newest regular orange TA series trailers I’ve seen start with 21. There may be some 22 and I just haven’t noticed. I don’t normally pull the orange trailers. We have a separate fleet of trailers on my dedicated account. From what I was told though, the first two numbers after the TA now indicate the year it was put in service.

Yea . I pull dedicated reefer. Did some OTR was mostly getting 1400s ....don't miss that at all. Or the hunt for empties.
