What does Dakota Financial have to do with Schneider? Seems like a 3rd party finance operation. Schneider Finance is Schneider’s leasing operation.

When you say everyone, speak for yourself. Not everyone is being taken advantage of.

Unless I missed something the op said nothing in regards to the equipment being leased .
What is it ? And is it new or used ?
How is the op's credit ?
Sounds to me like the finance company is makeing dam sure they are covering theyre arse in the event of a default situation .
The days of the 150k new truck and easy cheap money have long passed and with market uncertainty nobody is offering bargains .

So, you walk into a bank for a commercial loan and all they want is your check book balance?
So, you've never walked into a bank looking for a commercial loan.
    My best guess.

Commercial loans are waaaaayyyyy different than a loan to buy a house.

So after the $30,225 down payment the amount financed is $45,339.
Forty eight payments of $1916 is a total of $91,968.
    That's a 40% interest rate folks!!!

For a $75564 purchase your deferred payment price would be $122,193.
