Maybe if you would have listened you would still have a job. I know that you dont care what I think, and that is obvious from the fact that you are now on the outside and looking in. I have been the Celadon route, I DO know what I was and still am talking about. Plus, I live in Indianapolis(home of Celadon)and they still have the same crummy reputation in this city that they did when I first told you. I dont have problems staying out of "your" blog, but like I said--"I told you so". You can try to explain yourself all you want to, but facts are they asked you to quit or be fired for a reason. You can justify or try to justify that fact all you want to, but you screwed yourself, and nobody did it for you. If you were really "all that" like you think you are, you would not have been asked to resign now would you have? BTW, if you dont like people making comments on "your" blog, then quit writing it and go someplace else more private. If you notice I had not even logged in here in like a year. I think "your" blog deserved a comment,if you dont like it--well too #### bad!

Also BTW, Celadon does have Dedicated lanes for at least 3 companies under Celadon Dedicated Contract Services-Chrysler, WalMart, and Target. So yes they do have dedicated lanes, not everything is Regional. And just in case you dont beleive me, you may want to tell them to quit advertising that fact. Oh yah, I forgot-they asked you to quit. My bad.

All throughout my 22 years of driving I've heard good and bad about Celadon. At my first driving job we were just 1 mile from their old terminal on south Harding street. Several of our mechanics used to work for them so I trusted their word. Now their terminal in Indy is about 5 minutes from my house and I have given them consideration because irregardless of what many say a job is what you make of it. And I like working somewhere where I don't have to park the truck at my house. Did that when I drove dump truck and did damage to the driveway. Sorry about the way things ended for you bunny but GOD never closes one door without opening another. Best Wishes to you.

I use to run for Celadon and I loved it for the longest time, I see you did not join up till after 08 so you did not know the company when it was really a good one, they have fallen down hill some but I hope not to the bottom totally. They lost some good people who stood up for the drivers and when they went the drivers were not treated so well and I had to say good bye. I am glad you happy there and hope you stay that way..If not look on down the road girl I have found myself happy too.

..resign or be fired? I think I would resign "under protest" if it wasn't warranted.. u haven't told us their reason yet but I have an idea it was about your "can't please every customer" comment that might have been an ongoing issue with them, plus ur previous comment about "alot of screaming from me when i get upset" to ur DM might have also added to their decision.. I'm just guessing on those two issues but I wouldn't be surprised if they both were determining factors in their decision to let u go.. anyway at least you were upfront & being honest here to admit they were letting u go; just another life experience that u hopefully will learn from & move on with your life.. good luck with whatever u decide to do next...

I wonder if anyone still reads these posts??? LOL It's been along time since I have been on here... I had to let myself get my life together and my anger go before I posted on here again... As for myself now out of the truck and at home well, I love it... The economy totally sux and I miss the road really bad...
... But, I'm making it... As always I promised to update on what happened at Celadon and why I " resigned" from there... Yes it was a mutal decision between the company and myself as to save my DAC report, which I have not checked yet to see if they kept up their end of the deal... I more then enjoyed working there more then I can say.. My DM made that all possible.. Which I still talk to him often.. He says he misses me and still hasn't found anyone to replace me or even come close to me...LOL Imagine that!! I am one of a kind... with all my defects I always got the job done and never once was unsafe about doing it... I had 2 customer complaints in almost 2 yrs... Thus the decision to be reached was reached... One customer complaint was a valid one.. I got rude and was very upset with the customer and I let them know this... Probably not one of my better decisions... The second customer complaint was completely untrue and biased.. I'm by far a litter bug and I would never refuse to give a security guard my load information to pick up a loaded trl and go make some money.. Duh, that was just a dumb complaint... On top of that they claimed I parked the empty trl on a curb... Also not true.. I parked it next to the curb where I was instructed to by the same security guard... But that is neither here nor there... What really upset me was that Celadon DID take the word of an out of state customer whom had no valid evidence that I did these things over mine... Esp when if anything had ever happened like this I had always called in and discussed it with my DM or with the night shift supervisor if it was at night.. I always covered my butt if I thought for a moment that a problem was going to occur at a customer.. In this last instant due to the fact that nothing happened, I never called in to discuss it.. I had a good record with my customers and the security guards at the various places I went.. At this particular place I had been there numorous times with no problem and had always dropped the trl where told to... But anyway, I am looking to get back out there here pretty soon as I'm catching a fever here at home...LMAO The blacktop is calling my name yet again...
