yes I pull the same trailer on this project.

sounds like we are going to be delayed again
Montana permit issues ….again

 

Crane operator just dropped 7 tons on the end of the trailer. Sheered the glad hands and electrical off the end. Wonderful……..

 

Try pulling a permit in Ontario. Could be weeks, could be months. I gave up, if I can’t get it to annual permit dimensions I’m not ####ing with it in Ontario. And I’m domiciled here ffs, out of jurisdiction carriers must have a real ball with that.

 

Ouch!

 

snort...cough....sniff....sniff....OK, I've quit laughing so hard I can finally type now. Thinking of you Mr. @Rontonio since it's a specialized move- I need a quote on moving an excavator. Good size 'ol girl, but a fairly short run. Easy-peasy. EZ money
Buuuuuut when you get here you'll find the field service guy took the bucket, thumb, stick, and boom off and they are strung out all over the place because the outfit that's going to bore & weld up the stick/boom swore they could do it in the field BUT the heel/house pin bore has to be done at their main shop so might as well bring it all to them now.

Those are nice trucks. Hard to find one up here that isn’t destroyed inside though. Our specs and roads used to beat the entire dash assembly right off the firewall in the Freightliners. Saw a lot of those sold on or glidered for no more reason than the dash not being attached to the cab anymore.

 

Parts in Burnside has an alignment bench. I know they do for sure. I sent it too hard pulling on that stupid ramp up off of Lady Hammond coming out of Ceres. Slid the steer into the end of the curb where the ramp opens onto the Circ. Parts aligned it.

 

Everybody pointing the finger at the next guy. You just want to put the thing to work, not run all over the place putting the pieces together.
