Crane operator just dropped 7 tons on the end of the trailer. Sheered the glad hands and electrical off the end. Wonderful……..

snort...cough....sniff....sniff....OK, I've quit laughing so hard I can finally type now. Thinking of you Mr. @Rontonio since it's a specialized move- I need a quote on moving an excavator. Good size 'ol girl, but a fairly short run. Easy-peasy. EZ money
Buuuuuut when you get here you'll find the field service guy took the bucket, thumb, stick, and boom off and they are strung out all over the place because the outfit that's going to bore & weld up the stick/boom swore they could do it in the field BUT the heel/house pin bore has to be done at their main shop so might as well bring it all to them now.PoleCrusher, Flint1, singlescrewshaker and 7 others Thank this. -

That sounds familiar. Go to pick up a 966 at the dealer's shop and it doesn't have forks. Me... "Where's my log forks?"
Them... "Oh yeah, nobody told you? The forks are at welder's place. Swing in there and he'll put them on and then you can go to the woods."
Me..."Has he got the hoses too? There aren't any on the machine".
Them..."He must have them, we don't."
I call the guy and he doesn't have the hoses, has never had the hoses, and doesn't know where the hoses are. Also his fork lift is broke down so we'd have to jocky the forks on by hand which, since we don't have hoses, is an almost impossible job. I brought the 966 to him, bounced it off the back, and told him to call me when it was all ready to go. That was Thursday. I called the hose shop and they had the hoses there and were wondering why nobody has picked them up because they were told it was a rush job and charged accordingly.
I figure the phone will ring tomorrow and we'll be loading logs on Monday.Hurricane69, Tug Toy, PoleCrusher and 11 others Thank this. -
