@Cattleman84 went local about 4 or 5 months ago and the ramification is no Idaho russet potatos at the local sams club for 2 weeks. I’m really tired of excuses about supply chain problems.

dude, this is GEEEENNNN U ine chicken from the great state of Georgia.
We grow 'em hereLoSt_AgAiN, Dale thompson, tramm01 and 3 others Thank this. -
You bought it at Walmart right? I think it's against their mission statement to sell anything that's not from China.
That's probably why the chicken is bad. If it was raised in Georgia ( hopefully cage free, free grazed ), it was put on a container and shipped to China. Then unloaded and reloaded into another container for import to America.LoSt_AgAiN, InTooDeep, dwells40 and 5 others Thank this. -
I'm not a 100% certain on this, but I've heard that Tyson was using slave labor to get around the whole thing.
That's just what I heard.LoSt_AgAiN, InTooDeep, Dale thompson and 3 others Thank this. -
I buy my meat from a local producer, (they're about 2 miles down the road from me, just past the dairy cows on the right, about a stones throw further on the left. If you start seeing beef cows on both sides, you went too far.) If you buy it at Walmart, there's really no reliable way to tell where it came from. Back when I was hauling for Monfort, some of that "Colorado beef" came from Haiti.
