Having an inlet filter on them made the tin ones last a while longer. Dust and sand in the boxes holding moisture against the tin and you were reaching for the duct tape quick. Both the evaporator and heater cores that came out of them were pretty full. Still keep the foam charcoal filters on the inlets. Between the box and cores mine would blow the hair off your face coming out of the dash vents after we did it. I used to have to run the fan wide open on defrost all the time to keep the windshield clear in the winter. If I had it on split by the time I warmed my feet up I only had a hole to look out through.

Just a hint for you: drop your trailer air bags when running equipment off to prevent hitting the shocks full extension

Around the steel service centers down here you used to hear air springs exploding in crane bays all over the place. Pick a 25 or 26 ton coil off a 32’ pup that’s aired up I’ve seen the ends come right out of all 4 springs.

Well big for me, how bout that? :D
39k lb is actually the heaviest single piece I've ever trucked. As my name states, that's what I was run'n till last Oct. Peaches felt like a whole new truck once that 655k crawled off the tail.. lol

That's right farm boy, you tell em!!
A tree fiddy & a "performance" 9 can only do so much.. :D

I know this ain't say'n anything, but not a one box drag'n fleet truck got bye me on the Monteagle climb Sunday. I always figured them for 405hp-455hp trucks? I'm not turned up at all so all I can guess is the emissions really bog em down..

Wish I could have seen this sooner..

I was hard against the dock. As you can imagine, shredded the rubber dock bumpers as they tried to lift portable dock when she crawled off.. :banghead:

You can get at all of your 350. You might even have more power available to you at any given time than they do with a bigger engine. Its the way they’re programmed.
