Hello,
I’ve been a nurse for about 12 years and would like to do something else. I’ve decided to give trucking a try. I’ve decided to do a Driver Apprenticeship program through Willscott Mobile Mini. Any body from other occupations like nursing become truckers?
Greetings

And no, I'm not a nurse but I was married to a MD for just over fifty years. We have several nurses and health care professionals in our family. They're all doing much better than the average truck driver.Boondock, Another Canadian driver and 88 Alpha Thank this. -

I was an electronics technician for 15 years, then became a cartographer (map maker) for about 23 years before I became a driver. Being a driver is a fill-in career to take me the few more years until full retirement age. Been driving almost 3 years, all OTR, or as I call myself, a West Coast Reefer Jockey and still enjoying it. Current plan is to drive until April 2027. But, I can pull the plug at any time if I really wanted.
Boondock and Another Canadian driver Thank this.
