@Catmando or @wore out and a few others may have an interest in the pump or timing advance depending on prefix. It’ll pay you to keep those young fellas at the wrenches. Once the old man could fire me head first under broken #### he quit getting real dirty.

 

I do not but nice to see some kids working with dad. Lots better than playing games on the phone or watching TV.

 

That made my day to see those kids working on that engine.

It just reminds me that when kids do things they love with people they love, it leads them to become happy, well-adjusted, productive members of society.

Now more than ever, not only do they need that, but all of society needs that.

Let those kids explore and discover to their hearts content. And if they want to learn, not only teach them, make them experts.

Made mine too. I can remember being in the shop with my dad when I was pretty young. Like small enough I had to drag a sledge hammer across the floor with both hands. From the time I could walk they couldn’t keep me out of there. Biggest thing is those boys getting in some time with their father. They’re going to remember that. Even if I was covered in grease with sweat running in my eyes I wouldn’t change a minute of it, I was with my dad.

 

Looks like that old girl has an aluminum frame.

 

Measure the bolt pattern side for the frame. It does look like it may fit.

 

I have a lot of those same memories. I looked forward to Friday when dad came home. It was even better when the trailer was down, it meant I'd most likely get to tag along on an hour long round trip to the mill to load the trailer up on the truck Saturday afternoon.
