Or you can grab a big bottle (or 2) of clear heavy duty PVC glue from the hardware store, and like 3 yards of PVC fabric from a craft store or maybe even Walmart. I've always used old tarps and cut to size. I'd probably get a helper on the inside with a strip of plywood so you can apply pressure from the outside while putting on the glue. I'd also probably grab a 6" foam paint roller or something instead of using the small dipper on the cap of the bottle.

If you buy the Amazon kit, it looks like they're pre cut in 1 yard lengths, so it would be several patches seamed together. The glue is probably better than the stuff you get a the hardware store, but I've had good results with the clear heavy duty from Home Depot.

The superhero music is optional when doing the repair.

I used 3/4 plywood in the inside , rubber tape and plates with screw ... Seems like i can tight it up as much as i can ... Repair shop advised zip ties and gorrilla tape and barely tight it ...

Another Canadian driver, cke and CAXPT Thank this.

I had exactly that happen to my conestoga in McPherson, Kansas not too long ago. I punched a bunch of holes down each side and used zip ties. They went over it with gorilla tape. It was ugly, but it got me to our yard where they replaced the panel.

CAXPT, cke, OLDSKOOLERnWV and 2 others Thank this.
