Climate Express

Guess dispatch must of been in a hurry to get us swapped. The shop had me pull one truck in an they pulled the other one in. This was after i got most of our stuff moved. Just had electronics left to move an the power inverter to have swapped. While they were swapping the inverter two other mechanics pulled my electronics an even moved my antennaes an coax for me. I normally do all that myself except for the inverter. I thought that, that was above an beyond by helping me with that stuff. I made sure an thanked em all for the help. In the process i stepped out of the driver side of the old truck but the only problem was that i had forgot the dang steps weren't back on yet. That kinda hurt just a bit. I'm pretty sure i could be heard a cussing on the other side a the shop. Lol

 

Ouch.

 

I’m sitting in Burlington headed back to Denver tomorrow afternoon. Dropped witte load off Wednesday afternoon then did a local run to dg in Fulton. Then grabbed my coke load to Denver which I’m on now. This is shaping up to be a 3200-3300 mile week

 

Yea 10-4 we'll have 6k at palmyra. They're gonna get us right back to the yard tomorrow. With accelerator messing up it has been a little challenging to drive an i am certainly not taking it over any western mountains. The hills an hollers out here especially dropping into wheeling was enough.

 

Tentatively after we get back we gotta make a run to houston an recover a truck. Got a driver down there that's ended up in the hospital. Not sure what happened to the guy but he's gonna be outta action for at least 12 weeks. Don't know the guy but still hope he gets through whatever it is with flying colors.

 

In the truck Chicken, cheese, an garlic nachos. Yummy!!

 

Great Saturday morning to my fellow Climateers. I made it all the way back to Craftsman. My load delivers today at 1500, and Rich said it will go on this check, so that will give me 3468 for the week! Then drop my MT at Hershey, then BT to Smith in Pacific for a load to Shepherdsville Ky, for 0430 Monday morning. Hope all goes well for you guys this weekend. Remember next weekend is labor day, so Monday will be a non work day. LOL. Anyway labor day Wknd is my normal weekend off, so I'll get an Xtra day at home. Luv you guys, take care.

Yep it was good to see ya. All they did was spray some electrical lubricant up in an around the pedal hangar. We shall see if that takes care of it or not. They were short staffed in the shop today and in a hurry to get out the door.

 

I'm over here at Anhouser Bush, and they absolutely will not take anyone more than two hours ahead of appt.
