Hmm, I wonder if that cow would be standing there so content if it knew that truck has a rifle and a bbq in it somewhere.

 

Hahaha! That rifle actually turned into a gift for a great friend, so it's no longer in the truck. I will be throwing my shotgun in the truck after Labor Day. Just in case i get a chance to kick up some birds somewhere.

 

15 minutes before I got there it was dry as a bone, and made dust when you walked in it. Now look at it, at least I didn’t have to get pulled up in there since they took the dozer and skimmed the top off. Got about 25 loads of this to do, and maybe 30….

 

More loads to haul in, but those block systems sure beat gabion by a long way.

 

And I wondered if he had a couple of pesky cows that would lick the paint off of the truck.

 

Up here in the winter it’s not at all strange to come out of the bunk and find yourself surrounded by moose licking the truck. That can be startling to land in the seat and find a big swamp donkey looking over the hood pull at you.
