I've decided to get a Garmin dēzl OTR series GPS unit. I have 550 FlyingJ points saved up so the cost will be low or free.
What size should I get? 7, 8 or 10 inch screen.
Any of y'all have a preference? Any known problems with any of the models?
Thanks.

I think (do your research) the OTR1000 and OTR800 have the same features and the OTR700 does not have as many “extras” I have an OTR1000 and although it has done great riding around in an older Pete with really no issues other than don’t trust everything it tells you like all GPS it is way to big. I really wish I had gotten the OTR800 or smaller. It feel huge and I don’t need one that big.
tscottme, Brettj3876 and scott180 Thank this. -
I've had the OTR-700 for about a year with no problems.
scott180 Thanks this. -
tscottme, MOBee and classic_150 Thank this.

I have a 7in and a 5 in the other truck. 10 would seem like a TV Lol. What extras is the 7 missing? I'm looking at a new one too
Still undecided and scott180 Thank this. -
I have the 7" and wish I had got the next size up just because I have a hard time seeing it when mounted to the windshield.

I mounted mine to the windshield with Ram Mount components so that the gps hangs down over the edge of the dash. OTR-700

The big screens give you a great view of the screen, which also blocks much of what is in front of you.
Still undecided and MOBee Thank this. -
I have a 770 now and it's terrible with directions, I hardly ever follow it. That thing will get you in trouble. The new ones any better?
