Red breather lights????

Because you see the red lights from behind the truck .. I sure wouldn't want amber lights on.the back light bar of my air cleaners...Thats just wrong.no different than my fender mounted turn signals their amber in the front lens and red in the back lens... and their on my front fenders.. same difference with your airclearner lights

 

This is how mine are, I don’t have any issues.

 

Because all lights facing the rear should be red. Hell I have red lights in the cap of my air cleaners that shine forward, never been given any trouble over them. A Texas DOT was complaining I didn't have any reverse lights this week though.

 

Did you tell him you job is to go forward not backward. ?? Lol

 

F a ticket. A coworker of mine has a black on black Pete and was tellin me he was putting green lights in his air breather. I was skeptical, until I saw it Thursday night. I mean idk what else to say it looks rad as ####.

 

Actually I need to correct my 1st post all my lenses are clear on my truck but the lights in them are either amber or red
The red lights ALWAYS face the rear and Amber towards the front .. ALWAYS
So OP since you asked that question obviously your not cool enough to sport air clearner lights .. take them off and run naked

 

I honestly can't tell you that but trust me I have run red lights in the air clearners themselves & in the rear brackets of my air cleaners for 30 + years and not one word has ever be said to me about it... what about the tens of thousands of trucks that have red lights in the back of their bunks ?? That's not the most rearward point..
Iam assuming what your reading is for tail lights
