If that's on a W-2, that's quite nice. If that's on a 1099, that's about right.Speedy356, Another Canadian driver and JoeyJunk Thank this.
-
That's equivalent to $1541 on W2... About average, nothing amazing.
And what's with that "Security Deposit"? If you are a company driver, you aren't supposed to pay for any escrow or deposits, that's ALL the company's responsibility.
And on another note, why the settlement from a month ago? Where's 8/26?Speedy356, Another Canadian driver, LtlAnonymous and 3 others Thank this. -
Wait until the new IRS agents all get started auditing. These 1099er company drivers are gonna be paying big time back taxes...Another Canadian driver, LtlAnonymous, bzinger and 2 others Thank this.

Think Mgr and watch Asian mai show about a driver who ran with Mgr and got stuck with an insane bill you're better dealing with biden in shady dealings than the ukrainian/Russian Volvo mafia club!Another Canadian driver, JonJon78 and bzinger Thank this.

They post some insanity like that on the back of their trailers had one in WY wb on i80 not too long ago... he kept trying to race me I'm 68 and it was a battle of who pounds harder on their hairy chest but I let off once the 4 wheelers started coming bit yea they advertise some crazy stuff like that on the back of their trailers still looking for those bin laden stenciled in chrome diamonds patterned Cali plates independents I want to take a pic of the Arabic scripture underneath the pic of bin laden in the cave holding a ak47 and find out wtf thar translates to... always rubs me the wrong way to see thatAnother Canadian driver, JonJon78 and bzinger Thank this.
-
How in the world did you arrive at that number?!Paws and Another Canadian driver Thank this.
-
Simple. Reduce the amount by 43.5% to account for 15.3% payroll taxes, 18.6% income tax liability, 9.5% for workman's comp premium, 0.1% unemployment insurance premium... All the things the EMPLOYER should be paying, not you.Speedy356, Dennixx, LtlAnonymous and 1 other person Thank this.
-
lol He did the math. Yeah, 1099 is really quite the burden when it comes to tax time. Good luck.Speedy356 Thanks this.
