The guy in the cattle truck was a buddy of a couple of my co-workers. He didn't make it sadly.

 

Ouch! Just can't thank a post of this kind. It definitely took the joy out of this job for me. Flinching at the goofiest stuff. Hope it gets better soon.

 

I'm getting scared of driving lately too. Just too many close calls the last year or so. Almost getting wiped out last Christmas really got me shook up. I also have to drive the QE 2 every day and that's madness in itself.

 

Not sure what’s going on with people. They just don’t seem to be paying any attention to anything. Getting sort of tired having to drive 27 vehicles at once.

 

Busy Lizzy has been a #### show for years. Hwy 36 will get me to anywhere or close to it anyway.

Was looking like I was going to have to dead head a somewhat gross amount to get out of the house.. But, found me something picking up about an hour away, but not till Friday which is fine with me. Waiting on the carrier packet to get finalized so they can send me the rate con so hopefully Progressive doesn't drag their feet sending my insurance certificate to the broker. Funny thing about this broker, is they're one of my wife's accounting clients.

Gonna be a rough one... A heavy 10,000lbs and no tarps.

 

Pretty much my only option though unfortunately.

Listened to the news this AM and it sounds like you should of planted mustard this year. No one has their Grey Poupon it seems.
