It has been over three years...I'm going to the DMV tomorrow. For all the good it'll likely do.
It's far from my biggest problem but it has stuck in my craw so to speak.
If person X , not just me...you, me, anyone...if they get rear ended by a semi,
they shouldn't have to 'clear their name' regarding it 3, 4, 10 years later.
That's my opinion anyway. A pretty reasonable one it seems to me but as we see there's some dissent.

NJ does this too and they don't remove anything until you get to another page in their system which takes forever unless you are a 'frequent' offender.

here is what you said, READ CAREFULLY....

now, please SHOW ME, where you said you WERE a trucker, going to work THAT DAY?

    next.....from YOU

now please, SHOW ME where you said you were approved or denied the job.

    this from YOU

NO, apparently YOU DID NOT INCLUDE the accident you had, fault or no fault, you LEFT IT OUT, meaning to "them" you are lying, or hiding..information.

i did nothing wrong, i pointed out FACTS you left out.

and "no further comment from them..????

yeah, "silence is golden", you ain't got that job, you hid things from them.

and my "crystal ball works great"

it's been spit shine and polished and rotated and serviced, and good for another 20 years.

Ok guys, if he applied to my company and I saw this on his mvr, I would ask him about it, nothing else.

if there was a ticket issued, it would have appeared as a ticket and if after explaining it to my satisfaction, it would have been put into his record if he was hired, but it is not a big deal.

as for the police report, it would help if he was hired and then got into the accident, getting a ticket that would cause us, the employer, a problem.

You want to scold someone, I understand that,
but otherwise you don't even make sense. Just flailing around.

You don't know who I applied to or when,
or who might hire me or not, or for what reasons,
and you obviously don't know what information
they asked for and what they didn't ask for.

I don't know the color of your underwear (though I could take a guess).
But that doesn't mean you're hiding that info from me.
Now you may have a few last words between us,
and then you can go enjoy your retirement elsewhere.

take my comments anyway you wish...

the point being, you did not know you had an accident from 3 years ago..??

you do know that, ALL applications ASK for accident information for the last (3 or 5 , sometimes 10 years) and you did not recall that accident..??

and then you were "surprised" when they told you..???

good luck, but you are looking for an argument, not me.

i pointed out your short comings, and you cannot accept the responsibility as a professional..????

I would have forgotten to "list such accident" as well, considering My Only "FAULT" was being on that road location at THAT time.

I've NEVER had to list my Arrest Record and the last Arrest was for the D.U.I.
    - - - - - -
MY biggest hang up was having to list a D.U.I. from 1991, when I began Class A Driving in 1999, and on Every application after. I wasn't consistently a Truck Driver from late 1998 (school) to early 2020.

    CHEERS!!

Am I the only one that thinks it's horse droppings that some states put an accident on your MVR when you were not at fault?

Numb, Val_Caldera, MACK E-6 and 2 others Thank this.

Pretty nuts. I wouldn’t have listed it, spent more than 30 seconds explaining it and would not be trying to justify my actions to any keyboard lawyers. Someone hit him, they got charged, the end.

    T2012 and Boondock Thank this.
