At that rate, you could probably buy whatever tools you're lacking and parts from amazon, pick it up at a locker and still be ahead time and $$$ wise.

 

It's amazing how much it can change with a day of sunshine, or a few minutes of rain. Swinging fall temps is even trickier. In the morning when it's cold everything is stiff and manageable, but then the sun comes out, and it turns into a mess and your boots gain 50 lbs.

 

He may not have been enthusiastic about taking that fine W900 of his out there in the goo. That one he’s got there has way less to wash.

 

Can we get a better idea of the location. Maybe we can get some help your way.

 

You nailed the worst of it. The wild temperature swings at the seasonal changes. Break-up is worse than freeze-up, but they both hand you a couple of challenging weeks when you’re out off the asphalt someplace.
