Hotshot question

With or without a bed mounted to truck?

 

With the bed mounted, a number of states will restrict length to 65 feet total.

 

This is for a cdl hotshot? I’m assuming so because of the 450

 

My brother in law is wanting to get into hot shot but a non cdl. We’ve been trying to talk him into getting his cdls but not interested at this moment. He is looking into a ram 2500 and getting a 40 ft trailer.

 

You're killing yourself if you get anything less than a 40'. Can't tell you how many loads I've done that required a 40' to get the load but took up less than 30' of deck.

 

So do you have a cdl?

 

Not enough truck for a 40 ft trailer & if he's going to run one that big he will have to get a cdl.

 

That truck is too small. You will need DRW to have the rear axle weight.
