so you believe it good practice that just because one driver has so many miles under his belt for the week to starve him more miles to let another driver catch up on their miles? Even though the one might have more miles needs that good long haul that pays good average mileage pay, because what he got stuck with paid him only an average of .77 cpm? That don't even pay for fuel... And by the way, ask one of the shippers you are picking up from how much the load is paying, and tell me if your FORCED DISPATCH 61% is what you are actually getting darlin. Keep on your toes. If you are making out in the good, i am happy for you, but keep an eye out. I don't want what has happened to all 4 of my guys to happen to you as well.

I'm glad you got that car hauling job, sounds like a sweet gig! I would love to have something like that, but I know I have a lot more dues to pay and the economy has to get a lot better.

Drivers for expedite fleet owners get 60% and they only pay for fuel . The owner pays the truck payment , insurance , repairs not due to driver negligence , etc. .zentrucking Thanks this.

He didn't last long after that post either, and was charged $1100 on top of that after quitting.
They sit and DH about as much as expediters too.
1700 miles would be a godsend to most of those drivers now. -
Are you talking about runion25 Zen? -
Yep, If I followed the thread right - he's haulin' cars now.

yep i am hauling repos now. i've been here since jan. 2009. this is an ok gig but the economy is tearing us apart right now just like most other jobs. home everynight off on the weekend and paid every thursday and i pay for nothing.we are to the point now that we dont know if our job is going to be their from one day to the next.
guess i will be here till the end or if something else comes along. am starting to look around a little but i aint gonna settle for just anything. and thinking hard about actually going to a dealer and buying my own truck instead of a fleece. good luck to all of you guys and gals out their.
