I had completely forgot something when I rolled out of the house Thursday morning. Labor Day weekend.

    Whoops.

Been hunting for a load and nothing worth taking until Tuesday.

Oh well haven't been "camping" on a holiday weekend in awhile. Least I picked a pretty quiet mom n pop truck stop to hang out at. Surrounded by farmland and blue sky.

Its a 1958 Canada Diesel. Apparently they started being produced in the 50s by Avro Canada, which was an affiliate of Leyland. This model was originally called the Beaver up until Avro bought out Canada Car and Foundary. After which they were called the Diesel. The Diesel was only produced for 2 years and apparently the one in the picture I posted is the only known 1958 model. Info plaque says its powered by an 11.1L Leyland inline 6 @ 150 hp and has a Spicer 5 speed with electric 2 speed rear.

    Lol yup, dang holiday weekend.
Spent a couple days filling my deck up down here because of that..

1st stop now is only 12hrs from home, Russellville, Kentucky. So do I slow roll it & knock out 6 or 8hrs tomorrow? Or take a gamble with holiday traffic, & try to hammer it all out Monday.? Favorite Watermelon Derby, & Chattanooga to pass through..

Not the way I treated them. I was raised on looney tunes and dukes of hazard. She likes them so that's good enough.
