    Hello everyone,
I wanted to put it out there before hand I have a 389 2020 that I will be selling in December/January. The truck has about 208,000 miles on it . And will not have any more than 220,000 when sold. I am the only driver of it. It has never had Any issues at all aside from a Def related sensor going bad once. specs are as follows.
    14.6k fronts on 315 tires
46k rears on 22.5 low pros
23k non steerable pusher low pro tires
    3.73 gear ratio
48” Air slide fifth wheel/ Holland sever duty
    18 spd manual
    Double framed
    305 wheel base
    Carrier Apu
    605 hp
    2050 torque
    Dual 135 gallon tanks
Stand up 78 inch sleeper platinum interior with business center
    Add ons/ upgrades include
    Bigger air compressor
Brunner fab 4 door 16”depth tool box with light-bar and wrecker bar( tool box is painted and the doors,light-bar and wrecker bar are stainless the light bar has dual revaluation lights red & white in color)
Hodge Built single axle stainless fenders on all all axles
Custom Bruner fab stainless deck plate with air
    box
Painted air tanks, def tank and fuel tanks
    Painted frame
Painted 12” blind mount drop down visor
18 inch texas box end bumper with recessed license plate.
    Stainless steel front fender covers
    Aftermarket chrome headlights
    Smooth stainless covered battery box
White strobe lights mounted in the grill but not wired
The truck is wired for a light bar as well and has a controller button installed if the amber strobe pinnacle 60” light bar is wanted as well it will cost 2k extra
Pics of the truck is available the truck will
Not be shown in person until it is ready to be sold at that time it will also be listed on truck paper if a sale for it has not already been arranged.
Sale price is 250,000 or 252,000 with Amber strobe light bar or 253,000 for the complete strobe light package which includes the wiring of the strobe lights in the grille. the truck is and will be 100% work ready
If you have not heard yet paccar is discontinuing the 389 and w900 this is an opportunity to get one in excellent condition. Preventive Maintenance done every 25K miles papers to prove it. Before/With ever pm the truck is also given a deep clean treatment for the fuel and def system. In addition to using synthetic blend oil the truck also gets 2 gallons of synthetic oil stabilizer you won’t find a truck that has been taken care of any better . As I said in previous text paccar will DISCONTINUE the 389 and w900 2023 of next year is the last year they are being built . I have a build slot for one and the estimated pricing is 300k for a similar specced truck and that’s before an apu and warranty or any upgrades or additives . Not only that the prices on the new ones are expected to increase in every quarter by how much I don’t know. Once paccar makes the announcement official the values of these truck will increase meaning the buyer of this truck will have instant equity in it. The only reason i am selling it before hand is because I have another truck to drive and my bank will not allow me to finance a new one and keep this one. Otherwise I would be waiting to sell. For general questions ask on here for serious inquiries I’m willing to give my contact info.

Also the truck has only been used to haul 7 axle freight never grossing more than 140k for those that may be interested in what kind of work load it has had which can make a big difference in how long it can go before an overhaul.

If any one is interested but are wanting 20k fronts it can be ugraded to 20k fronts which was approved by Peterbilt engineering when I bought it. And can be done by a certified Pete shop with OEM parts. If the buyer can show proof of financing or ability to purchase the truck as well as put down a non refundable security deposit. I am willing to get the upgrade done before the purchase is made . The cost of the upgrade itself plus a percentage of that cost will be added to the sale price.

They aren’t discontinuing… that’s why they just spent all that money to adapt the pos dash

I’d be more concerned over putting a real set of rubber under the rears then updating the front….

If they keep building the W9 it will get a digital dash eventually.

But they probably didn’t spend much to adapt the digital dash into the 389. I would guess using common parts across the board would lower their costs.

If u are referring to tire brands when you say a real set of rubber the rears are Bridgestone and the fronts are Michelin. They are indeed Discontinuing it is not a rumor I have confirmed with multiple very reliable sources .this is why paccar is not certifying the new twin SCR after treatment in these models. It’s not a stunt and with the way technology is going it makes perfect sense for them to do so. Giving the direction the trucking industry is heading in as technology continues to evolve .

One of my best friends has a W9 coming next year. His salesman is still talking like KW is going to put a digital dash and dual filters on the W9 so they can keep building it.

I'd be more upset if KW dropped the C500 to be honest.

Ok well until the official announcement is made anything said on this forum can be considered hear say and I’m not up for debating my post is intended for those who are or will be in the market for a 4 axle truck driver not to discuss what paccar is going to do so if u don’t have any questions about the truck and your not a potential buyer or know someone that may be interested please do not reply so that others that is actually interested in making a purchase does not have to decipher through opinions that can be discussed on a post that’s intended for that discussion. And i say that politely so please do not take it as me trying to be rude

You are asking more than you gave for the truck. Good luck as truck prices are starting to fall.

Ok I also put a lot more into the truck than what I initially paid for it and am willing to drop the price by taking away all of the additional upgrades that has been added. Again I’ll say if you are not interested please refrain from posting I cannot force anyone to do so but am asking that U do so out of mutual respect.
