If you have not heard yet paccar is discontinuing the 389 and w900 this is an opportunity to get one in excellent condition. Preventive Maintenance done every 25K miles papers to prove it. Before/With ever pm the truck is also given a deep clean treatment for the fuel and def system. In addition to using synthetic blend oil the truck also gets 2 gallons of synthetic oil stabilizer you won’t find a truck that has been taken care of any better . As I said in previous text paccar will DISCONTINUE the 389 and w900 2023 of next year is the last year they are being built . I have a build slot for one and the estimated pricing is 300k for a similar specced truck and that’s before an apu and warranty or any upgrades or additives . Not only that the prices on the new ones are expected to increase in every quarter by how much I don’t know. Once paccar makes the announcement official the values of these truck will increase meaning the buyer of this truck will have instant equity in it. The only reason i am selling it before hand is because I have another truck to drive and my bank will not allow me to finance a new one and keep this one. Otherwise I would be waiting to sell. For general questions ask on here for serious inquiries I’m willing to give my contact info.
Also the truck has only been used to haul 7 axle freight never grossing more than 140k for those that may be interested in what kind of work load it has had which can make a big difference in how long it can go before an overhaul.
If any one is interested but are wanting 20k fronts it can be ugraded to 20k fronts which was approved by Peterbilt engineering when I bought it. And can be done by a certified Pete shop with OEM parts. If the buyer can show proof of financing or ability to purchase the truck as well as put down a non refundable security deposit. I am willing to get the upgrade done before the purchase is made . The cost of the upgrade itself plus a percentage of that cost will be added to the sale price.
2020 389 heavy haul PETERBILT

Better talk to tax man before selling, 22 or 23 , make a plan for all the depreciation and capital gains your going to eat
singlescrewshaker and S & W Thank this. -
They aren’t discontinuing… that’s why they just spent all that money to adapt the pos dash
I’d be more concerned over putting a real set of rubber under the rears then updating the front….Vampire, Cat sdp and singlescrewshaker Thank this. -
If they keep building the W9 it will get a digital dash eventually.
But they probably didn’t spend much to adapt the digital dash into the 389. I would guess using common parts across the board would lower their costs.Vampire and singlescrewshaker Thank this. -

One of my best friends has a W9 coming next year. His salesman is still talking like KW is going to put a digital dash and dual filters on the W9 so they can keep building it.
Vampire and singlescrewshaker Thank this. -
I'd be more upset if KW dropped the C500 to be honest.
IH Truck Guy and singlescrewshaker Thank this. -

You are asking more than you gave for the truck. Good luck as truck prices are starting to fall.
