Cost of New Reefer Trailers?

    I was curious if anybody has priced and know the availability of reefer trailers (Great Dane or Utility). I bought a new Utility with a Carrier unit last November for $94.5K and I know that same trailer jumped to $114.5K this year.

    From what I'm gathering inventory is still limited so pricing still strong and the idea of getting a good deal because the freight rates are down isn't happening.

    I couldn’t find a new unit, but I’ve got a new box on order for just shy of 67k with a flat floor I’m going to swing my unit on to,

    What's the delivery date on your new box? Are there built slots open? It would be nice to be build one with specs and not have to wait a year to get it.

    Second week of October

    They have 5 duct floors and 3 flat floors coming in, no build spots all dealer spec, I asked about updating one of them from the 50k air ride to 70k but was told there would be no promises, would of loved to actually spec one out but the floor is just completely shot in my current trailer

    I'm going to call around on Tuesday and see what the dealers have but it seems like my thinking that people aren't taking deliveries and inventory building isn't happening. At least for a Great Dane or Utlity as it looks like you go get a Vanguard or CIMC tomorrow if you wanted.

    I was looking into getting a new trailer but I decided to just buy a brand new reefer unit. Getting that installed next Monday actually. All the dealers I spoke about a new trailer we’re quoting me $120k -126K. The utility dealer up in Washington state has 2 new ones on the Lot ready to go as of like 12 days ago.
