I think the traffic cone is a good idea, you don't want anyone missing that wreck in front of them....nredfor88, Dave_in_AZ and TB John Thank this.

You just gotta have the right trainer.
This trainer is probably booked up with applicants waiting to be one of her students.
God bless every American and their families! God bless the U.S.A.!
The absolute sheer driving force of our national economy - without truck drivers, our entire national economy would come to an absolute standstill - if not outright be dead.

Over the mountains, through the woods, into the valleys, coast to coast, from sea to shining sea - truck drivers can and do go anywhere and everywhere, every day, every night, all year round.Last edited: Sep 6, 2022

Driver, there isn't a one of us that hasn't had backing issues when we first started. Anybody can drive forward, the real skill comes in the backing. If you can't back, you ain't gonna get a job. So don't let that jack@ss make you feel different. Before too long you will be like the vast majority and able to whip it right in a spot. Hats off to you for putting up with the slavery songs and questions. I personally would probably report him, but that is just me. It's not fun riding with someone who will try to ridicule you as if you been driving long as he has and still can't back up the way he wants. I wouldn't count on that guy to guide me back either, just FYI. If you are unsure, DO take your time and don't be afraid to pop the brakes on and get out and look.LilRedRidingHood, Opus and Ktucker17 Thank this.

I drove for Western Express back in 2009. Back then at least, they were all about the flatbed division and the dry van was red headed step children. Made less per mile, got the crappier end of the stick on a lot of things. May be different now.
bryan21384 and Ktucker17 Thank this. -
Thank you, I have reached out to HR about the situation and am waiting on a response. I know the backing will come with experience and I'm gonna be safe rather than sorry.
Seems to still be the same, the only ones in dry van getting any love are the lease purchase.LilRedRidingHood, bryan21384 and Lonesome Thank this.
