You have a regular place to go to?
Usually get a very short cut first part of June, then keep it that way to around October.
Walked into a place, told them what I wanted. They would not cut it. At the time, was at least shoulder length. I did find a woman that would do it. Not sure why the problem. Do every year, for like the last 30 years.Crusader66, DeereRunner97, CAXPT and 7 others Thank this. -
Right down town. They hadn't seen me in a few years because they were closed during covid. 4 on the top and blended in with a 3 on the side. But she recognized me after not seeing me for yearsCrusader66, CAXPT, PoleCrusher and 8 others Thank this.

Our little experiment here. For whatever reason the electronic pump barrels and plungers flow more than what's in the mechanical pump now. So we're taking apart this semi electronic pump that came off of it since the B/P will work in it. So we just the tool to hold the cam rollers up. After popping the cups out we thought they'd be threaded but nope. So we came up with an idea since they're pipe threaded.
After popping the cup plugs out there was no threads like what one of the videos showed.
So instead of bobbling around like that this is what we came up with
Not the final version but a rough one in order to slide the barrels out of the bottom. will be able to tap the inside and have a pipe plug instead of a cup plug
This is the bottom where they slide out. They were cup plugs too that were a ##### to get out. Ping ping ping with a punch and then a pair of vice grips.
So if we can get away with just maybe a few b/p than will put those in the pump and have the pump guy calibrate it. If most of them look scored up were going with 13mm. But those oem ones from the electronic pump flowed plenty of fuel. Just want it to pull like it did before. She feels about ~75-100hp down.
We also did find oem 650 marine injectors.
I did find out that the 650 marine runs 15.3 pistons like we have and 23° timing with 12mm plungers. So I figure on a road truck 19-20° would probably work not lugging it below 1500 as long as you can keep it cool. The marine version is rated at 2300rpm
We do have a spare mech pump to play with. We won't take this out of service to dick around with.
Didn't know how to get these cup plugs out w/o ##### them up so we ran a tap down em and ran a bolt in em and popped em out.
