I like having dual 150's on mine. I can stretch out the range just right so I can take advantage of buying the lowest cost fuel I can in the area I primarily operate. 120's seemed to be barely adequate for what I am doing. The tractor is not too heavy, so I have never had a problem with gross even with the tanks full.
biggest fuel tanks

Shouldn't you be sitting in a lawn chair at a gas station somewhere?
VARITHMS Thanks this. -
Bought a old volvo out of the overnite fleet many years ago....it had dual 190 gallon tanks.....at that time fule was .99 a gallon. I'm afraid I'd drop a load in my pants if I were to have filled that thing up at today's prices!

dont the pumps shut off at $999.99 and require another card swipe.

I've got 2 x 110, but that's not really enough for OTR (I've put as much as about 214 gal. in on a fill
) The truck was originally ordered by a regional bulk liquids carrier. I would spec. at least 2 x 150 if I were buying new or replacing.

Lordy, a 'my tanker is bigger than yours' contest! Too funny!

Big Don Thanks this. -
I think some drivers need smaller tanks so the y can get a free shower more often..... all though that might be like the whole leading a horse to water thing
-
Now THAT is what you call a pissing contest!
