So I’m unsure if this is the correct spot for this question but I’m debating getting into some O/O driving either for expediting or In general
im stuck between a 22ft reefer and a 22ft flatbed just to not be another normal van box runner, curious of everyone’s opinion on such things in relation to loads and frequency
Thanks In advance, feel free to roast

I think it’s a terrible idea.
That said, I used to work for a company in Maine that had weekly delivery of a liquid compound that could not get cold. So in the winter it would ship via reefer box truck. The guy was an owner operator and did such good service they decided to keep him even during the summer with a contract.
I guess if you try hard enough and smart enough anything could work. But it’s going to be a battle.GYPSY65 Thanks this. -
thats fair lol but interesting anecdote
its meant to start kinda as a "side gig/hustle" along with my normal driving job until it has better fruition -
My guess?
You’d go broke with that unless you had a very specific customer
I’d go as big as you can
Don’t be intimidated by a trailer length
I’m almost 80’. Never measured. Could be a bit more but I can tell you I can put this rig in places that I can’t put a Ford Escortloudtom Thanks this.
