I have a older cobra 29 that has been peeked and tune and has the 1969
final in it. It has the smaller driver. If I take and put a 2314 driver in it will that increase the performance of the radio or will it stay the same?

I read they are getting hard to find. I haven't looking into getting any myself but I have read that. Maybe it best to leave it alone that way I know nothing will happen to it.

People wonder why a HAM would tell you to go get a linear but here is my reason .....

IF you run that cb STOCK it will last a long time .... let your amp do the talking.....

There are a few more component changes that you would certainly need to do in addition to do the High Power mod.

I don't really want to do a power mod. I've heard some people that have them and
I don't like the way they sound.
I never thought of going the amp route. I think I'm going to look into that.
