Ok wasn't sure if I call the port directly or the state!! Thanks @kylefitzy

@Rontonio , or anyone else. Have you used the WA state self issue permit system? At the 121 to 119mm there is a 10 wide restriction that I need to route myself around. Also 10 wide restriction from 109mm to 108mm......

    D.Tibbitt Thanks this.

I have used it but not for a while. You have build your route using their milepost map by segment

so Like I-205 mm 17.1 to mm109.6 on the route page. That is what I remember about it

Sorry, doing this wind crap has caused brain damage and I forget a lot of stuff - mostly cause I have used it

Yeah playing around with the system im starting to see how to use it(Gotta use the click-on map they provide)

Only issues are the restrictions I mentioned above they start at 7pm monday. I plan on being at Idaho/Washington line Sunday night. Im gonna call the state Monday morning to see if they will issue me a permit. The system wont let me do it without routing myself around those restrictions. Only way that seems to be around it is to route myself on I90 to George then make my way North and west up to US97 then down......

Im at a Loves in Ritzville, WA, about 3.5 hours from Seattle I believe. Ill say its beautiful out here. I wouldn't do it again anytime soon though lol....

Of all the passes, the only one that snuck up on me was Lookout Pass....I seen the sign at the scale house saying it was 10 miles ahead, and about 10 miles later I was still looking for it, I passed the chain up area and all of the sudden there it was, I didnt get a good head start going up that one. Stopped at the top for a bit. That view was amazing. Going down, I had a guy blow his horn at me, I guess I was going too slow. Everyone flies down that mountain.

I blew my Air to Air boot in Iowa on Friday night...... trying to get road service was a nightmare. I didnt think Uber would do it but, I had them pick up the Air to Air boot and clamps and deliver it to me for like $58. I was on I880, about 35-40 miles from Council Bluffs where to parts were so not a bad deal at all.....

This is what one of the places I called said..I think it was called Hatcher or something in Council Bluffs...... First, the price was ridiculous , it was roundtrip per mile fee and then like $149 call out fee and then $1xx per hour, 2 hour minimum. He told me that his tech needs to come out and see if that is actually the problem, he wanted to come out and diagnose the issue THEN come back and get the Air to Air. He said well his tech might grab the wrong boot.....After he told me the price I knew I wasn't having him come out Lol. It was just comical that he would try to tell me that his tech "may grab the wrong one" and he wants to come diagnose it prior. Im glad Uber does that stuff! Needless to say I now have an extra Air to Air boot with me. I blew one about 8 years ago too and that was last time I was on the side of road....

Edit to add: I also was pulled over in Iowa as he wanted to check my permit, he asked did I want an inspection. I did say yes, and he gave me a level 3. ONLY reason I volunteered was because Ive had my Authority for over a year, and have had no inspections or anything. And he told me before that it would be a level 3 as it was still dark and also raining!
