Reading these reviews and why they were so quite to hire me says another. Was supposed to be on a plane tomorrow but that's not happening. My arrival was at 2300 and to the terminal at 0100 doesn't make sense. Escrow for a company driver is just a scam. The fact that there benefits are being called out too. Unfortunately I'm still gonna have to job hunt
Dennixx Thanks this. -
It's CF act better now? I'm supposed to start orientation on Wednesday. I'm stuck until I find something better.
-
Where do you live and what are you looking for?
-
I live in Winter Haven, I'm looking for decent hometime and decent pay.
-
I live in Winter Haven and drive for Leonard's Express. Kottke seems to have several home time options. Sharp Transit does the Aldi stores out of the Haines City DC. Home every day.
-
How much experience do you have?
-
I actually worked for sharp for 2 days. 1 for orientation, and 1 for training. I didn't like the pay by load model. And I didn't like the fact that run your clock out. I'm ok, working 12 hours, but then to drive home, I'd rather just sorry in the truck at that point. I'll check out the other companies you mentioned. I currently have 4 months otr, with a total of 1 year of recent experience in semis, but I have a total of 38 months in the past 11 yearsxlsdraw Thanks this.

I've got a Leonard's Express thread on here that you can find using the search bar in the upper right. I'm not tech savvy so I don't know how to link.
I do long haul OTR and usually stay out 3 weeks.
I've researched Kottke recently, through their website, and they have some really appealing shorter options.
I've never been impressed with Carroll Fulmer. Mostly bad reviews.
I did railyard work for a few months with JB Hunt out of the Winter Haven railyard and it paid poorly and was slip seating. That's the only home daily driving job I've had. Didn't like it.
If you're physically able to do food service most of those type companies are usually hiring.
Rowland out of Dade City may be worth looking into also. -
There's also a guy, in Winter Haven, with about 10 trucks or so, that leases them on to Smith Transportation out of Kansas City, Kansas. I think his guys usually get home weekly. Can't remember his name but I know where his place is. Just north of Wahneta on Rifle Range road where you see all the trucks and trailers.
