Hmmm, I find that strange. Was just in Olathe the other day and talked to 3 drivers who were going company.
As for the lease. Don't even think about it!!!!!!!!!!! Not only will you be paying all the bills on but say you do decide to take the 4 yr lease thinking the truck will become yours. Well you will become an O/O after 4 yrs BUT you will still be on the hook with them for another 2 yrs to cover the baloon payment at the end. Thats a total of 6 yrs, being in hock to TA.
Doug, nobody can make a decision for you on what you wish to do. All you can do is gather all the info you can and make an informed decision as best you can.

What about the lease program with England?
-
OK thanks for the advise!

With all big companies it's not a lease program it's a Fleece program!!! Read around there are hundreds of threads on here from people who have worked for big companies who got screwed into the Fleece program. Besides most are just starting in this industry and have no ideal how it even really works. That would be like wanting to lose your virginity to a diseased riddled hooker!!! It might not kill you that day but you are going to die soon.

I understand that there are a few reputeable companies out there with lease programs. Theres a good thread going about JCT and have heard that Hills brothers have a good one. Don't hold me to that tho.pinballwizard Thanks this. -

They want you to lease a truck and be out 3 weeks or more at a time.

Lease is what they expect. RUN AWAY is what you should do.
