Thanks Jason. I think I'm going to Swift in Oklahoma City running Dollar Tree. The recruiter says it is a go for 2/23/2010, but I still haven't seen any paperwork so we'll see....

Been talking with a Swift recruiter now for the last 3 weeks, everything has been a go or so I was told. My date was set for 2/23/10, my graduation was today 2/5/10. Now the day before graduation I contacted my recruiter to find out why I have not received anything from swift, it was then that I was told that the saftey department had declined my application due to a car crash that I was involved in 31 years ago(1979). So I really received the Swift shaft. It wouldn't have been so bad except I had stoped looking for employment since I was under the impression I had already found one. I have my class A CDL with doubles & triples, tank and hazmat and I graduated today, but no job. Any sugestions?????

They denied you because the crash wasn't recent enough. ;) means youre too good of a driver to work there!

Ok I've heard of some weird stuff. But they denied you because of something that happed in 1979.:biggrin_2554: Something isn't right with that. Sounds like BS to me. I'd start putting in apps every where. May,Crete,J.B. Hunt,Schneider,Werner,Roehl, every where. And not just one or two but as many a day as I could till I was in orientation and on a trainers truck.
