-
A question like that would better be answered by the recruter. There is a high possibilty you might not be the only one they are working with
-
that is possible lmb i was going to giver a call on monday

That is too cute! I bet he's thought about this forum several times since then though. Maybe he'll sign in as NewGoat!

By the way Ole Goat, we drive a white volvo 780, if you see us, we'd love to collect some breakfast!

And if we could hook up with him to buy dinner, we would be happy with him being here!!!!
On the serious side, though, I think we all feel the same way. It is nerve wracking to make the decision to move over, but well worth it. -
IA and IN wasn't to bad when I went thru there yesterday but I 80 in OH was pretty crappy and windy. Glad I had 43000 to keep me from wiggling much.

Does JCT hire teams from FL?
How's the loads? Long haul? Some short runs ? Are the loads multi-stop?
Can the the team get home time anywhere or must do it # physical address ?
How much they pay per stop?
Is ok to have (borrow) my sister address in CO and have my CDL from FL?
We are a true H/W Team looking to run long miles (lenght), our preference is coast-to-coast. We are tired of been used as an "unlimited hours of service" truck, doing all sort of late solo loads, short and multi-stops/PU/deliveries that drive me nuts. The company that i'm working doesn't have team lanes and doesn't know how to run teams. It's pretty convinient for the carrier, have a team to be used as a toy for it own convinience. "Have a solo late doing a 200 mile run? Call the team...".
"Have a multi-stop load with 8 stops # $15/ stop and your solo doesn't have HOS to do? Call the team..."
I'm tired of all this Bull$#!*.
We are in trucking for the Long Haul. Doing those ##$# multi-stops loads just burn our logs, patience and don't gives the rest necessary to have a safe operation. Nobody can have decent rest in the sleeper while your team mate is bumping docks, 6, 7 times per night and driving in the city traffic...In my modest opinion, there are a lot of wrong usage of teams around.
I would like to know if JCT have the same "habit" to use teams as a little toy to burn the DOT Hours of Service regulation and use them as "day-cab" but paying as OTR.
Thanks a lot!!
Peace and drive safe (and rested)...
