Used to be one just north of Ann Arbor on 23, but I saw comments somewhere that is been replaced. I don't get on that stretch very often , so I can't verify. I think it was 13'10".
East height limits.

It is being replaced (a couple weeks ago they closed 23 down to lay the beams), but all the signs currently still say 13 '10" so I don't know what the new bridge will be at.Another Canadian driver and Hammer166 Thank this.

IIRC, any new construction related to the interstate has to be 16' to get federal money. Hopefully that applies here as well.Banker, Another Canadian driver and EvertonP Thank this.

It’s gonna be a learning curve. I’m used to running 15’ at home with only 4 feet overhang. I’m gonna have to learn to run short and long like you guys do
Blue jeans, Another Canadian driver and Hammer166 Thank this. -
Probably not as the bridge isn't so much being replace as fixed. Back in February it was hit (again) by an excavator and basically destroyed the bridge over the north bound lanes. So all that's getting changed is half the bridge, so little to no chance of the height changing. (They could use skinnier beams, but that's about all, and will only add a few inches at most.)Another Canadian driver and Hammer166 Thank this.

Iowa had a couple just south of Sioux City they redid a couple years ago that were only 14'2". They did a combo of dropping the roadbed a couple inches and adding spacers below the slipjoints at the abutments, which also required building up the approaches, of course. Not sure exactly how tall they are now, but eyeballing trucks going under them they're up over 15'. I don't think they've been hit since then.
Of course I'm sure Colorado never expected someone to hit a bridge over 17' like that idiot just did a while back.Blue jeans, ZVar, Another Canadian driver and 1 other person Thank this.
