Pretty much for everything. Haven't seen a bush road or lease road yet that has CB channels listed, just a frequency.

The few times I've had to head up a winter road to a drill site the customer would usually give me a portable radio or escort me in to the site.

I have both...company supplies VHF,,I supply CB. All bush hauls are on VHF

I found my Hummingbird marine radio languishing on eBay and listed as a CB..i paid $14 for the radio
Its mounted in the boat but never used other than for weather reports.
