I was a pastor primarily to youth and children. Pastoring adults did me in. LOL
Trucking has been a refuge for me. From school to my current fleet it has been edifying and rebuilt my personal self esteem which had taken a huge beating. It's enabled my husband and I to rebuild finances, be together and allowed us to be with our grandchildren.
Yes, at times I miss ministry....I miss the teens and the children. I miss the sense of purpose. But I do not believe I will ever return to organized ministry.

after being in a truck for 15.5 years, and being unemployed since june 12th, i am now driving a 1 ton dually diesel pick up and hauling travel trailers. these are tag and fith wheel trailers. it is slow right now, but should pick up soon.
i still miss being over the road, but so far no one wants me.
