Owner ops and fleet owners, what do you refuse to haul on your flatbed? Commodities that you no longer accept. Freshly added to my list is elevator components, pain in the ### to prevent from destroying a tarp.
    What's some of yours?

I can give ya a heads up on Walmart green return bins...they full of "past due food" Had a dozen of the bins and I parked trailer at the dock...dock hand told me later when he opened the doors there were maggots crawling out of bins,,must have been meat in bins. I have no idea why contents are not put in Walmarts dumpsters for local landfill.

I’ve done it a few times helping out with the company I worked for in another division they had. Wasn’t the worst thing ever but the nets were less than ideal.

It's easier when you're not the one paying for the insurance. I have a bullseye on my back. Ambulance chasers know what my minimum coverage is and they have a raging hard on for it all.

Scrap bales or scrap anything. Not so much the load as the loading area. I loaded twice, got 2 punctured tires. Sometimes I have a steep learning curve.
Maxi sacks of anything and NO tarps.

Greasy old manufacturing machines. The pay rate will be good, but will ruin a set of tarps. New machines will be crated. Old machines will be coming out of some closed down business.

You will get the big machine, plus all the brackets, shelves, nuts and bolts piled up in your trailer. The tarps are supposed to hold the pile of parts on.

I sat there one time for 2 hours trying to figure out just how to tarp up already built revolving doors going to a bank. Had glass on top and was peaked in the center like a teepee. What a joke.

Loads I refused countless times are cow hides. They are fresh from the cow, haven’t been processed. Gooey and bloody, not to mention stinky. They also want it tarped. Funny enough I see these for dry van loads also. Screw that.

Reminds me of picking up an old oily covered cnc machine from a place that went out of business. Talk about a disaster. They ended up going to Home Depot and buying plastic totes for the little crap. Still had to strap and tarp it. It was the killing blow to my tarps and had to replace them.
