    jurupa valley ca at home
sent to Sam's club in Moreno valley to pick up and take to beaver UT.
bol number and destination didn't match up.
trailer that I was suppose to get was delivering to their DC in Ontario ca.
was suppose to go to Loveland Co
got there around 0830. after notifying dl and csr I sat till around 1400 before figuring what to do.
ended up taking that trailer and delivering to Ontario ca.
csr and dl says that the trailer had 2 loads attached to it somehow. . after dropping the load there . I came back to jv terminal and then came home.
going to miss the beaver run and hopefully do some local runs tomorrow.
dl says he is gonna pay me what I would normally make going to beaver ut..
other driver is going to beaver and will have to figure out what to do after talking to his dl

You live a wild life, DP.
I've had it when 2 drivers were assigned the same load, but never the trailer being on two loads.

I think what happened is the bol was one load and the trailer another.
csr kept saying the bol was going to Loveland. but I told her the trailer number was going ontario

    jurupa valley at home

    did 2 local runs.
first one pick up I'm Sante fe springs ca and drop trailer in city of industry.
second was bobtail to fontana and tcall that load to jurupa terminal.
dl said no more loads so I came home.
Denver driver ended up coming all the way here.
dl says he is going empty all the way back.
was told we were not to go empty anymore. but I guess rules don't apply to everyone..
so dl says I mite do a Lathrop terminal run tomorrow and Friday

Oak Creek, WI at the Value Inn.

Just as I was coming into Milwaukee my truck broke down, again.
And it seems it is the exact same problem as last time. Last time the #3 cylinder bridge fell off, and it sounded and acted the same this time.
The tow truck only took an hour to get there, and the dealer was only 16 miles away.
This place is about 1/4 mile away, so an easy walk.

When I called for a price it was $82, so that is what I got for the advance. When I got here the cost was only $60 - they have a very good CDL discount.
It is a very nice room, especially for the price.

    dwells40 and dptrucker Thank this.

Still here at the motel, my truck should be finished tomorrow.

It seems someone is stealing hub caps.
There was a Camry parked in front of the room next to me last night and I noticed the front right hubcap was missing.
It was gone this morning but was back later in the day.
Now both right side hubcaps are missing.

    dptrucker Thanks this.

    Lathrop terminal.
picked load up near jv terminal and tcalled here.
    place is a parking nitemare.
trailers parked double wide in front of other trailer .
    every isle is like this.
so wasn't surprised when I found trailer I was picking up here that a dropped trailer was parked rite in front and a tractor trailer next to that.
knocked on guys door and same time a yarddod drove by.
so asked him if he could move the drop trailer. he did and other driver was already moving up.
delivering this load in Madera ca and then picking next load on Chino ca that hopefully I can at least do one trip to beaver

    Moosetek13 Thanks this.

    Bad news on my truck.
Improper towing damaged the transmission, and that is not covered under the warranty.
They e-mailed Swift but so far no response.

My sister is going to pick me up and then we'll be heading to Green Bay for the Million Mile Event.
It's a 5 hour drive for her so she won't get here until at least 1600. I paid a bit extra so I could check out late.

From there, I have no idea what is going to happen.

Did the tow truck not drop the drive shaft?

It is either drop the driveshaft or remove the drive axles.
They usually choose to remove the axles.

This time he only removed one side, when usually both sides are removed.
I asked him about it and he said that as long as the driveshaft rotates freely only one side need to be removed.

Freightliner confirmed this, and most units can get away with only removing one side.
Mine is one of those that need both sides removed.

And I was watching him test the driveshaft, and it did rotate. It must have hooked back up after we started moving, or he didn't turn it enough to make sure.
I don't think he turned it even a full rotation.
