Made it to my reload 30 min late since Costco held me up. Been hauling a lot of 44k loads and other than moving 5th wheel directly in the center of drives I've never weighed a load in a long time. Tandems all the way up and the last 2 pallets are even with them

Now that just perfect, couldn't ask for any better

Don't know how many blows you get up that way, but it is okay to get the heck out if the way and let mother nature have her rip by herself.

    Godspeed.

Are you talking paccar mx13? The one your running? Wouldn't you have to have someone do some magic in the ecu to make the vgt programming go away?

I'm definitely not the one to ask but I hope you have a good programmer guy. Vgt is partly why the Jake's on these new piles are so good. You'll lose a lot of jake power and stop and go fast spool up

If I'm not mistaken, the VGT is also needed for proper operation of other stuff on the engine as well.

ECM tuning can really be a big difference in an engines operation. You don’t have to “turn up” the settings. It’s more about matching program maps. Keep the hardware stock, parts are easy to find that way.

    I've got a MX13 455..

I think if I wanted to squeeze some more go out of it I'd start with ECM changes before I'd mess with bolt on parts and trying for more boost. Need to synergize the fueling with the PSI to really get the best benefits.

I'd also not worry about more power until I got the rest of the truck right in terms of maintenance and repairs.
