I can't compare as I have only used Herd. We have stupid deer down here and elk in Oregon that will challenge you. I have only had to have the truck washed and no body work was required, after tangling with them.

Aliarc is all I've ever seen. Look sturdy but kind of a PITA to unthread the 2 bolts up front every time you want to open the hood.

My buddy did $1000 worth of damage to an Aliarc when he hit a 9 month old St Bernard puppy. If you really square up a moose at highway speed you’re going to destroy the front of the truck anyway, moose bumper or not.

Hitting a moose would do damage, but I have never hit one. A bull elk, yes. But no damage was done. Did need a truck wash though.

I have had deer strikes on Herd bumpers with no damage on our pickups. Fortunately I haven't hit anything bigger yet. They are built well but I have no experience with Aliarc or Magnum for comparison.

Herd take a reasonable hit before they bend.

My buddy I was running with in Montana has a herd bumper on his kw w9.. I've personally seen him take out 2 black bears , a handful of deer and some other small animals... all that with no damage to truck.. If we were running at night or early dawn/dusk. I'd make sure he was in front of me... No idea how much they cost though
