Success stories are always great to hear about.

Many people seem to come on forums just to say oh poor me, which seems silly...or they make nothing into a large amount of drama.
Been trucking for 34 years, and still enjoy it most days.
Hell i even like ELDs, f..k paper log books, new trucks drive like a Cadillac on holidays, and tires/brakes are much better, so many things are better.
If I have a complaint its how useless road builders and pipe liners have become, so they screw up traffic.

Thank you. Yeah there were times where I considered giving up. But not because of anything the program had done.

The key is knowing exactly what you're getting into. It can be done but it's not a stroll down easy street.

Well I waited about 4 years to make this post after the uproar I caused. I haven't read any of the posts here since my last and probably won't.

Im back to say I completed this LP. I get my title on Monday. I want to thank everyone who blasted me for doing it. You kept the fire lit under me. I finished it because of you guys who said I couldn't. It wasn't easy and I wouldn't do it again but it wasn't nearly as horrible as everyone here says. I never had any issues making money. I was home for a week every month and I always brought home more than I ever did as a company driver. I even bought my wife a brand new car that we would never have been able to afford.

I now have a paid off tractor and paid off trailer (paid cash) and am in the process of getting my own authority. I'll be hitting the road under my own numbers with paid for equipment and roughly $50k in the bank. I can't imagine accomplishing any of that without the lease purchase as I was literally living paycheck to paycheck prior.

So thank you for all the negative comments. I wouldn't be where I am today without them.

Great job ! Sounds like a similar experience I had with my LP I completed last year... wasn't easy for me either and I wouldn't do it again...

I went out on my own this year with the truck I paid for... nice to see someone else that has had a similar path and been successful with it. Great work!
