Dish soap, now they have spray bottles to. Leaves no film. Or fluid film. It will catch some dirt. But if you slide it daily or weekly, it will not be a problem and battles rust well.

    Or dry aerosol graphite.

Then question of ownership comes into play. If I dont own it, it gets PB Blaster to get it to move. Or any close raised curb or sidewalk will do!

Hope it stays above zero for another 2 or 3 weeks. My peppers are FINALLY starting to grow.

I slide it 3-4 times a week minimum. I'll try soap 1st or graphite. I was smart enough to put the old dock bumper and chock on the recap tire and not the good ones Lol.

I'll get a better look under there tomorrow.

And these older engines just don't have the clutch engagement torque as the new 15L so it's a lot harder getting it to move with a fast reverse

The soap won't last. But works. Used to slide cars with locked up brakes or no keys in park of the flatbed trucks with dawn.

Spent alot of years putting fluid film on rollbacks, outriggers, and booms. Had limited wear pad issues. Same Teflon as your sliders.

In '78 I drove for a small fleet that was all KW (12 tractors) and everything was on torsion bar suspension. We were mostly a tanker fleet with 2 of us running flat/dry bulk when available. Flats were mostly small tanks and steel shapes one way and bagged fertilizer the other. After 3 years driving Stars with "velvet ride" (rubber torsion) suspension or 195" wb freightliner cabovers the KW k100s and A model w900s rode like a dream loaded.

Dawn dish soap if you need to quickly.
Bees wax melted with 25% mineral oil rubbed steel runners on twice a month will allow it to slide much easier.
