Yeah, for sure but just because it wasn’t a home run doesn’t mean I’m going to keep it from TTR or not call it a win. 3 sisters to these were sold in spring 2020 for like $27,500 I believe (it’s documented somewhere here on TTR) and I was absolutely thrilled as I paid 32,500 for them.

So, I decided to take what I could get instead of keep thinking I was going to have a job for them. All good.

Yes, I’ve bought new trucks since 2017 and new trailers since 2015. In fact one of the two I need to sell include this one. I think it’s turning out much harder for me to sell equipment that I’ve bought from new.

I still have my 2002 f150 I bought new as well lol so guess I’ve had a problem for a while! :D

Don't beat yourself up. The brand-spanking new Atro can be had now for less than $50k.

I didn't hear from some truck or trailer dealers for 2 years.
Things are going downhill fast in sales, so they are back to their monthly sales calls, and offering me 'specials'.

The big question is do you think it will get bad enough to bring prices on new equipment down…?

If the new equipment prices do come down, it will not be anytime soon. Maybe some incentives to purchase, but major price drops mean renegotiation with suppliers.

If in few months a 2022 truck with 100k miles is selling for $100k to $120k why would anyone buy a new one for over $200k . Prices are always controlled by demand. brand new houses build close to my neighborhood were selling for 600s few months ago . Now there are 5 on sale for 510k and still sitting with 0 showings and 0 offers . They will prob sit or sell for lower 400k
