Did you ever see the Bridge just north of the Ford plant about a 133rd and Torrance. Amazing how that still works for as old as it is

Yes, I seem to remember there are a couple more like that off the North side of the Skyway in Hammond also?

Don't recall ever seeing them operate, they look like they are ready to fall over.

They're is in operation been stuck by them a few times going into Kinder Morgan.
They raise to let the freighter cargo ships in and out. Pretty cool seeing the bridges lift the road horizontally to allow those ships through

Been probably 3 years since it happened last, I had forgotten the joy of being out on the road and sicker than a dog. Should have everything unloaded and back where ot needs to be by 10pm, and it cant come fast enough.

I don't know what the hell is going around this fall but everyone needs to hope like hell they don't get it. That was the worst I've felt in many years. It's 12 days later and I still don't feel 100% yet. While I have missed work for medical reasons in the past (broken leg and rotator cuff) I'm trying to remember the last time I missed work because I was sick and I literally can't. Generally I figure I'm going to feel like #### no matter if I go to work or stay home so I might as well feel like #### while I'm making a couple bucks, this time there just was no way I could have.

Otherwise things the last few months have been going okay overall, but it's been a bit of a struggle. Just after I came back from the rotator cuff surgery I got a different dispatcher. He is the nicest young man you could meet, but it seems like we just can't get on the same page. Seems like I spend half my time telling him I can't do this or that for whatever the reason may be, which generally makes me feel like an idiot, plus I know it ends up making his job harder in the ling run also, which makes me feel like more of an idiot.

Other than that everything is pretty much as it was. Money is still good overall and not planning on going anywhere unless I get canned over the nanny cam for some reason. I did notice the 2023 tractors showing up are now back to being twin screw, so I have a bit of tractor envy, mine is not, and it makes a huge difference in the winter.
